Set to be one of the most talked about events in the city, the main highlight of the GUESS Fashion Party will showcase performances by international acclaimed R&B singer Shontelle at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur later tonight. Shontelle broke into the music scene with her cute single T-Shirt and now she is back with a slew of strong singles, including Impossible and Perfect Nightmare.

What do you think of your collaboration with GUESS?

I’ve always wanted to be a Guess girl, like Anna Nicole. I think being a Guess girl it’s about being adventurous, glamorous, sexy but not trashy. So the brand does match my personality.

What did you know about Malaysia before coming here?

Well I actually learnt it from David Archuleta. He’s constantly talking about the Malaysian food. And we’re both huge fans of Asian food. David told me that I gotta check out The Twin Towers and stuff like that. But prior to that, all I know was that Malaysia is warm, just like Barbados
